Embarking on a Journey of Self-Discovery Salome's journey began in secrecy as they grappled with their own identity for numerous years. It was a challenging path in a society where conformity and uniformity often demand adherence. However, their experiences and passion for change led them to courageously found Pride of Sheba, an initiative that stands as a testament to their commitment to making a difference.

Passion for Gender Advocacy Salome's fervent interest in gender advocacy was ignited during their final year as a student of Christian Religious Studies and Philosophy in 2008. It was during this pivotal period that they delved into the intricacies of gender roles and socialization, igniting the passion for change. Their thesis, "Ethical Analysis on Gender Inequality: A case study of the Buji people, Bassa-Plateau state," critically examined prevalent doctrines and provided clarity on the standing of women within society.

Dedication to Fostering Change After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Religious Studies and Philosophy from the esteemed University of Jos, Nigeria, Salome has continued to channel their dedication into their advocacy work. Their interests revolve around gender advocacy and technology, two realms they view as pivotal avenues for societal transformation. Bolstered by the revelations unearthed through their research and personal experiences, Salome is also driven to contribute to peace-building efforts.

Salome stands as an inspiring figure poised to make lasting impacts in both their professional and advocacy pursuits. They are the Co-founder and Executive Director of Pride of Sheba, an organization committed to championing inclusivity, understanding, and acceptance for gender-diverse individuals.
